Updated: Jun 07, 2011 1:08 PM EDT

Jacque Waller was last seen last Wednesday, June 1.

Clay Waller, the woman's estranged husband, is now considered a person of interest in the case, according to Lt. David James with the Cape Girardeau Co. Sheriff's Office and Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Case Squad.

"He's a person of interest because he was the last person to report seeing her or having contact with her," said Lt. James.

Her purse and phone have not been found.

Family members reported Jacque missing around 11:30 that night. Detectives say Mr. Waller also filed a report after midnight.

According to police, Clay Waller says he left the residence on Woodlawn and returned at 6 p.m.

"He tells us her vehicle wasn't there when he returned, but other witnesses say it was," said Lt. James. "We need the public's help to find out more about where Clay, Jacque, and their vehicles were after four Wednesday afternoon."

Jacque's 2006 Honda Pilot was found on Interstate 55 Thursday morning. Investigators also recovered Mr. Waller's red Sierra truck and a boat.

"We need to know where the truck, the SUV, the boat, and the couple were after four Wednesday," said Chief Humphreys. "We are making flyers to ask the public for help."
