someone just told me that you could use Ameda hookups on a Medela pump. I thought that was shareworthy news:)
I love medela, i used mine for 13 months but i hated that the tubing would get condensation in them which would lead to mold so i'd have to meticulously clean them or buy new tubing. Ameda hookups don't get condensation in them because it has a one way system or something so your breastmilk stays "clean".

1 mom liked this

I tried this and it kinda worked, but it didn't quite.

I started off with the Ameda pump that broke.  So, I got the Medela as a replacement (my FSA paied for it LOL).

I tried it and for some reason, the valves on the Ameda equipment didn't pump right with the medela pump.  I messed with the knobs and such and it just didn't get the same quality suction that i normally get from Medela (or from the Ameda pump with its own parts).

Which is unfortunate, because I hate the condensation issue too!!!!!!  I was really hoping it would work!
