i was in this group a while ago with ds

and now i'm pregnant again with a dd

planning on breastfeeding this one too. (bf ds til he was 2.5)

Anyway my dh wants me to mostly pump during the day and use bottles

I have to go back to work six weeks pp and he says that it'll make his life hell if she wont take the bottle for him :/

i told him I need to ebf her for the first couple weeks so my boobs make enough milk and so she knows my breast and takes it .. other wise bf and pumping with fail.. . and then i'll start bottles here and there. He says i need to only give her bottles during the time he'd have her so she wont be confused and after 4pm i can ebf. Lol i tried to explain to him if i'm giving her bottles and then i'd have to pump while feeding her i wouldnt have time for anything else... he doesnt get it. I d k how this is going to work with him not understanding but i also do not want to fight about it or anything

and i told him i dont want her on any formula and he says it's not that bad :/ We didnt use ANY on ds and he didnt have an ear infection for the first 15 months (his first winter)

baaahhh

end rant/

I think introducing bottles and breast at the same time she would just get confused. And eping is a lot of work! I feed change pump wash. Then it's about half an hour before i start again :/ i say if you want to breast feed go for it and then if at a couple of weeks she doesn't want to take a bottle look into other options like cup feeding? Idk they suggested it to me at the hospital so Aiden would develope a nipple preference
