sleep and supply question

How much does lack of sleep interfere with milk production? DD was awake most of last night so I only got about 2 hours of sleep. I just pumped and at this time of day I would usually get between 3-5 oz, but I only got 1.5. Could it be from lack of sleep?

I think sleep is important for milk. Just like water and food are important too. I think stress could affect it too. Everything is interconnected!

If it was just one day it could have been a coincidence, it could have been related to something else. But you know your body the best, so you can keep an eye on it and see how it goes. Hopefully you get more sleep tonight :)

yes it can interfere our bodies are all different and some people are more sensitive than others, if i go too long without pumping my supply will start to drop so if i know i cant pump  on time i will bring my manual pump with me or pump early so i dont miss that pump session completely
