There's just something about those high school days that were magical... or horrible. Either way, high school's been a favorite thing to sing about for years.
Take the poll below and tell us which song about school is your favorite. Don't see it there? Tell us what it is in the thread below.
10 moms who take this poll will win a $10 Barnes & Noble gift card.

I picked "Smoking in the Boys' Room" as that is a good tune and it was very popular when I was in school.

I do Like "School's Out For The Summer" but I voted for other because i can't get "The Wall" by Pink Floyd out of my head. Some class clown played that song (on a cassette player...aaaackkk!) the last day of school and our teacher was not too happy...lol.

I choose other. The song that brings back school memories is "we will rock you" It is not a school song but it was always played at games and events at my highschool.

I dont know any of these songs by the name. Maybe if I heard them. So I just picked other.

I chose School's Out but if i could choose 2 Motley Crue would be a pick too.
I went with Smokin in the Boys room. Love it! One other song I really love is Let Them Be Little by Billy Dean. Not really much of a school song. They played it at my nephews graduation and there wasn't a dry eye in the place!
I can remember when you fit in the palm of my hand.
You felt so good in it; no bigger than a minute.
How it amazes me you're changin' with every blink.
Faster than a flower blooms, they grow up all too soon.
So let them be little,
'Cause they're only that way for a while.
Give 'em hope, give them praise,
Give them love every day.
Let 'em cry, let 'em giggle,
Let 'em sleep in the middle,
Oh, but let them be little.
I never felt so much in one little tender touch.
I live for those kisses, your prayers an' your wishes.
An' now you're teachin' me how only a child can see.
Tonight, while we're on our knees, all I ask is:
Please, let them be little,
'Cause they're only that way for a while.
Give them hope, give them praise,
Give them love every day.
Let 'em cry, let 'em giggle,
Let 'em sleep in the middle,
Oh, but let them be little.
The so innocent, precious soul:
You turn around, an' it's time to let them go.
So let them be little,
'Cause they're only that way for a while.
Give them hope, give 'em praise,
Give them love every day.
Let 'em cry, let 'em giggle,
Let them sleep in the middle,
Oh, but let them be little.
Let them be little

I remember leaving school on my last day of my senior year. About 10 of us were blasting "School's Out" as we drove out of the parking lot.

Hands down Alice Cooper! I remember signing that every year on the last day of school from 7th grade on!
