Little background info... Our soon to be 3 yr old has a condition that makes him have some sleeping difficulties. He absolutely must have a closing bedroom door or NOBODY is going to get any sleep. :P
We are going to disney the week of april 15th and these are the two options we have narrowed it down to...
Fly into orlando, use disney ground transfer, stay at the wilderness cabins, do the dining plan, 5 days/4 nights. OR.....
fly into orlando, rent a car (since we will be hitting a grocery store), stay at Bonnet Creek, still do 5 days at Disney but will be staying 7 nights at the condo.
Either way, its going to cost about the same. Except one is worry free and food is included, and the other is a little more work but we get an extra two days of vacation.
Any recommendations or personal insight? Can we still purchase the refillable cups if we don't do the meal plan?
I stayed on property with 2 children and how simple it was to get from point a to point b.
And the meal plan food was amazing and no clean up - perfect.
I'd stay onsite, PLUS, there are delivery grocery places who will deliver to Disneyworld, straight to your room! You just place an order online, they confirm the day before, and then it's delivered to your room at a certain time (between 10-12 or 1-2, or 3-4 or whatever time you select).
Super easy and great for snacks/water. And we stayed at the cabins and OMG, loved them!

Was it super expensive to have it delivered?

One of the stores I had looked at when I considered having stuff delivered I believe was like a $12.00 delivery fee.

We are actually going to be there the week of the 15th too!! We went with the dining plan that offers one table service, one counter meal and a snack. I think the meal plan is easier.
LOL! Maybe we will run into each other. :) I think we have pretty much decided to stay on site at the Cabins. :)
