We are going to WDW in two weeks. eeee! lol The kids are 4, 5,6 (not all mine) and I wonder if they are going to care about the trading pins. I don't want to waste the money if they won't be interested.
(and even on ebay, you are still spending money for something they may not care about)

My 8 yr old was "too shy" to approach the cast members to ask members. She didn't care for it, although she did like the pins. The lanyards do get heavy if you have a lot of pins. My 6 yr old enjoyed it, but didn't want to trade because she "liked them all" so I had to coax her to trade the pins we got off ebay. She did trade for some cute ones, but now that the trip is over, the pins are in a bag in her underwear drawer.
Trading pins is take it or leave it. If you don't start it, you won't miss it either. If you want to save the money, skip it. My kids cared more about going on rides than looking for opportunites to trade pins. We usually traded pins on the way out of the parks.
Quoting LovemyQ:I should state that the 5 and 6 are boys and the 4 is the girl. I am thinking boys won't care as much?
My daughter loves her pin so much that she has never traded them with anyone. She just enjoying adding more pins to her own collection.
