How often do you change templates?

I only used to change my template once in a blue moon but I have started doing it about once a month.
Where do you get your templates? Does anyone here make them?

I change them when the mood takes me.  Sometimes it's once every few months, and other times it's once a week.  For the most part, I use the stock templates and customize with headers if I can.  I haven't been brave enough to try any of the free ones I've found yet.

I don't change my templates. In advertising- branding should be consistant.  On my more established blogs it would not be a good thing at all. Plus on my Gartner Web Development blog it would not be feasible at all and my husband would have to do it. Just another opinion... (On my one blog I would love to swap things out now and then, but it effects the money I am making).

hm, I never even thought it would effect the money made. Both of my blogs get fairly good traffic. I dont sell anything on the Rural writer but I probably should. I get crazy traffic there. I do on mayhem and make a fair amount. Some months better than others and this year has been great so far.

But I dont know if changing the look of the blog would effect the money if all the same opportunities were still th ere.

PM me at WAHMZone  message boards and I'll show you around! You'll find lots of wahm info and new friends!
