I see so many writers posting whole chapters of their books online. Does anyone worry about their work being stolen, or am I just paranoid?

I've thought about this too, and it has actually deterred me from blogging. Cut, copy and paste is such a great way to plagiarize someone else's work. I'd like to have a more in depth answer to this question, as I was a little weary of putting my son's poem on here because, he did it at school and I don't know if it was off of some kind of template.

My stuff get stolen all the time from my blogs but whole chapters of books are something else. Its to easy to prove you are the original writer and you could really chap someones ass for stealing that. Besides. Why would someone steal a chapter of a book? They'd still have to write the rest of it.
