I think this is the system I am going to try first.  This is a way to organize your cleaning schedule.  I really need to get my binder together with all the other information in it as well.  I am glad I found this group, it is helping me get motivated!

MY favorite website right now?  Well that would be CAFEMOM!!

I'm loving all the ideas you share...I came up with the card system for ysd to do chores("home responsibilities") but she wasted so much time bringing me each card as she was finished with it, that I kind of gave up.

I also have a binder for cleaning with daily/weekly/monthly/seasonaly lists and a calendar graph for everyone to initial when/what they completed.  I've gotten lazy with it the last few months so I'm here searching you ladies because I'm on a quest to maintain our home better.

I have files next to the computer but I think i'm going to try to compile some into a full Home binder.

I also like www.organizedhome.com, which has been mentioned... www.meals.com whick explains itself, and   www.birthdayalarm.com which sends out two email reminders of birthdays and other special occastions. Then I can send an ecard (to send immed. or program a date ahead of time) to let others know I'm thinking of them and care.  The price of cards/postage has gotten so out of hand that I reserve that for the extra-special moments or the loss of a loved one. (speaking of, I quite sending Christmas card several years ago.  It saved a FORTUNE.  I give a quick call, or see a lot of people at various parties anyway.) Okay--I've derailed.  Sorry for sorta going off topic there....

Actually, this is a sister/mother site to www.flylady.net.  Marla Cilley took a lot of ideas from the SHE sisters, with their permission and encouragement, and created the FlyLady program.  I've looked at both, and FlyLady seems to be easier for me.

OH, and I found a fantastic FREE meal planning website www.mealsmatter.org !  Free to use, you can keep your own recipes on it, you can plan meals by the week using the recipes, then print off a shopping list!  I love it!

Dear Friend

I want to invite you to vitsit my web site www.frugalparentsnetwork.com. The main focus for this site is to provide a daily source of frugal tips, recipes, news and ideas to help you earn money and save in all areas of your life. Living frugal is a way of life that is learned when money is tight and bills have to be partially paid. While researching ways to cut back and become more frugal, I found a lot of great tips and suggestions for parents to save money, earn extra money, and live on one income. However, I didn't find them all in the same place. I wanted to create a website with all those tips and suggestions in one location. So, I set out to build a website with my tips and ideas. And it is the frugal parents network.

Are you a Stay-at-Home parent?

Are you thinking about becoming one?

Do you need to earn extra income?

Are you looking for creative ways to save?

Visit Frugelparentsnetwork.com and help me help parents learn the frugal way of living.
