So if I choose to get a Truefit what's the best place or way to purchase. I live near Houston Texas and if I can get it cheaper at a store I don't mind going across town for it. If you purchased how much did you pay and how did you get it? Do you know of any coupons or deals on how to make it cheaper?

  • I have not seen this car seat in stores, but I got mine from Target.com when they had a free shipping deal on baby stuff.  I think it was about $180, and well worth it!

  • I live near Houston too. I'm not sure where you are but the Target off 290 and Spring Cypress sells the tan and black one for $189.00.

PS. How did you come through the storm? Good I hope, we had some shingles fly off and part of our back fence came down, but the power was luckily restored later that day, so we are very grateful.

  • Can someone please tell me the CHEAPEST place I can find this?  My daughter's convertible carseat is a disgusting disaster and I can't get the stupid cover off it to wash it and a friend of mine said that I shouldn't even try because she did with the same carseat and it totally wouldn't go back on after.  So I am going to have to suck it up and get her a new carseat in order for her seat to be sanitary.  But we are on a tight tight budget.  So this will probably end up being one of her birthday presents (with the others being small toys).  I need to go as cheap as possible on it.  Wish I could find the $99 deal the other gal found!!
