Thank you Madeline for prompting this post!

I was asked a question via post of how to get started writing a story. Here are a few ideas of what you can write about.

-You can give advice-Write about the emotions you felt during that time-They can be positive or negative stories-How you found support or didn't have the support-How you overcame or are still struggling with your experience- How your experience changed your life for the better or worse- You may chose to write it in journal entry form- You can really take any part of your experience and write about it.  You can write a poem- draw something- you can express yourself by any means.

If anyone has any other ideas of what people can write about feel free to reply with some ideas.

*SIDE NOTE* The Help Inspire Others project is NOT allowed by law to give out any type of Medical/Mental Heath guidance. I'm not a licensed therapist. This project was set up to help the readers and give relief to those who are writing the stories- It is not meant to replace any type of therapy. If you feel you need to seek further help please do so.

Thank you

Melissa.
