Hi everyone. My name is Heather. I live in the Reidland/Farley area of Paducah. I have 7 children between my husband and I. I babysit from my home. I enjoy cooking, sewing, and drawing. My current hobbies are photography and being on cafemom...lol. I am easygoing and told that I'm a good listener. I am a very normal person I guess. I love making friends and getting to know people. I hope you enjoy your experience in this group nad if you don't please let me know so I can attempt to change that! Hi my name is Carolyn and I am the group owner.  I created this group to get moms in the area together and to help them to maybe make friends.  I am a SAHM of 4 kids and love every second that I get to have them in my life.  My kids are 13, 12, 10 and 9.    I am engaged to the most wonderful man that I could have ever met.  I met him online in a chat room called Chance Encounters, and it really was a chance encounter that I met him.  He is the half that makes me whole.   I live over by the mall but am definitely regretting that especially this time of year with all the holiday traffic.  LOL  I moved here from Chattanooga, TN and was born in Pennsylvania.  Please if there is anything that I can help you with or if you want to do something in this group then just do it, start a game, post to your hearts content.  I am glad to have you here.

Hello.  I just found this group on a friends page and never even knew about it, obviously.  I am a member of the Paducah area moms group, not sure if any of you are members there also.  I've been around Cafe for a while now.  Just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Denise, I have been married for 7 years this month, we have a 3 1/2 year old son.  We have lived in Ky for almost 3 years now.  Originially from NC, we moved out here for my husband and a change of job.  He works with Ingram and the Benton National Guard.  I guess I would say I'm a SAHM still even though my son is in preschool.  I'm trying to find a job around here and its not easy especially on hours and I cant work weekends.  Anyway, I'm here to meet new people of course and just waste some time on the internet.  You can also find me on myspace: www.myspace.com/debo1203.   Anything else you would like to know just ask me.

Hi!  My name is Missy.  I was born and raised here in Paducah.  i graduated from Reidland high in 1983.  I have a wonderful 17 yr old daughter and a Chi-Pom mix who is just like my baby. I work at a local hospital and am taking classes thru Mid-Continent university.

I love to read and spent time on my computer.  Starting Jan 5th I'll be online whenever I'm not at work taking 2 online classes.

Well to start with I don't live in Paducah. I live in Kuttawa, in Lyon Co., but I travel to Paducah a couple times a month. I also have some family in Paducah. I'm a stay at home mother of two. A 6 year old son that is in 1st grade, and a 3 year old daughter that will start pre k this Aug. I love being home with my kids and my DH of 9 wonderful years. We need to get out of the house more often, and the kids need to interact with other kids almost as much as I need to interact with other adults. Bonnie

 Hi Ladies!!! Let me start by thanking everyone who has welcomed into the group. So THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am so happy today i just want to share a little of my life here lately. I am 35 years old and i have beautiful 12 year old little girl who i adore oooo so  much she is my light in the dark and when i feel like giving up it is her who keeps me going.. I am married we are seperated and have been for over 2 years this man was so abusive and controling I had lost all my self esteem and honestly i wanted to die at times. I finally was able to get out because he ended up going to prison that was my time to free myself as well as my dd from the situation we were in although he never harmed her by hitting her or degrading her like he did me in my head at the time i realized he was hurting her because she was seeing what he was doing to her mom it was just as bad as if he were doing it directly to her. So while he was locked away I walked away from him I felt guilt for this and apologized to him. Anyways while he was in prison an old friend of his was drunk and it was storming outside so bad and he needed a place to crash so i let him in i was trying to help him well that night little did i know i was going to be raped i did  not fight back in fear of waking my dd. Yes the man who raped me is in prison for 15 years. Well that was january of 2008 and i have spent the night with a man i have been talking to since b4 the rape he has been a big support in all this and for the first time in along time i felt safe and i stayed all night with him and he was kind and gentle and understanding. I know this is long and i am sorry but for the first time in a long long time i truely feel happy and i just wanted to share it with the world so i started with u ladies first.   My name is Terri. I am  a 47 yr old single Mom. I have lived in Paducah most of my life, and I love it. I hear people bad moouth Paducah and think ,man you just don't know. Paducah is growing by leaps and bounds. It big enough to have almost anything you would want or need but small enough that we don't have the big city crime and violence. Small enough that you almost always see someone you know when you go out. How sweet is that!

  That said, I have three children,Ashli is 25 and married,she has given me two grandsons that I adore . Chris is 19 and Dakota is 11.

I have been single for about 6 yrs now. I haven't dated ,haven't met a guy that I would want to . Not that i think I am all that ,I just have rules and boundaries and you would think that a guy my age would be over the "booty call thing" Do they ever change? Anyway, I am totally happy just being a Mom to my kids and enjoy being with them . I have also been attending college,taking classes in the multi media field. I have mostly concentrated on the photography end of that field. I have one more semester till I get my asso. degree,but have taken a break to go back to work . Was tired of being broke. i will finish.

 I graduated from Lone Oak in 1980. I hate that in the near future there may not be a Lone Oak High anymore. With the school consolidation our county High schools will be no more. That's hard to swallow.

My name is Amanda and I have two children; my daughter is newly turned 3 and my son will be one on the 11th of this month.  I'm a SAHM, technically although I do attend Murray State. Hi everyone my name is Janice and I have lived in Paducah since 94. I love it here, I was born and raised in Fl. alot of people don't understand why i left. Well I love the weather in Fl. but it's not easy raising a family there unless you have money which is something I don't have alot of. I have 6 children 5 girls and 1 boy  20, 18, 15, 12, 9 and 8. I also have 2 grandchildren 1 boy and 1 girl. I adopted my son, I have an older brother who was unable to raise him I really didn't need another child but I wasn't going to let him be raised by strangers when he could be raised in his own family. I love my children very much and they are my reason for living. Thanks for your time looking forward to getting to know everyone.
