This is yet another FREE way to advertise your website, business opportunity, or you can use it for customer gathering.
This is the best way I've seen to market your biz for free online (it may be replaced by a new free method I'm trying :)). What is different about this traffic exchange vs. others out there is they have an anti-cheat method built in. People have built programs that will surf sites like these automatically so the people don't have to do it just to create more credits for themselves. But that's not very fair to those who don't get to to that!
So they have fake links built in that tells you not to click on them; because a computer program won't be able to tell the difference between the anti-cheat link and a real link. They also have you stay on the page for at least 20 seconds so the people surfing your site will have to stay there for 20 seconds.
It does take some time...I usually do it a few times a week and I build up enough credits to get my ad seen. There is the option to upgrade to a pro account of course, but right now I'm using the free account :). I found another website through Traffic Swarm that I am now advertising on very cheaply. This is the one I'm going to try out and see what it does for a month before I give the go-ahead.
So you'll get some benefits too by looking at the ads. Most of them are clearly that they want you to join their biz...but I've found a few nuggets through looking at the ads so maybe you will too! Give it a try...it's free! And I'll tell you I don't think I've seen any candle businesses, biz's like Shaklee or Maleleuca or any skin care! What have you got to lose, it is FREE!
Feel free to ask any questions...here's the link to see what it's all about:

I have done a few of these. HOWEVER!! they can be a little dangerous! Some of the sites are full of adware. I had to completely redo my computer because of the Adware I got off of one of these sites. Also they will get more people to your site but they are all doing what you are doing and rarely will they actually visit your site. They just look at the page for 20 secs... So it's better to guide them to a site where they can see a product or service as opposed to a biz opp.

I know what you mean, you do have to be careful of the ones that you use. I've heard some very good things about Traffic Swarm though and have been using it for months now with no problems.
I do agree that using it for a product or service would be better. I have both my home business and the services on there so people can pick and choose if they are interested. Traffic Swarm puts a lot of built in anti-cheat software so it typically attracts more quality users as the traffic exchange sites that let you bounce from one ad to the next can allow for automatic clicks, and probably more adware.
I don't doubt that it hasn't happend, but it's less likely to happen with Traffic Swarm since it's a "higher-end" traffic exchange.
More than anything it's just another free way to get your product or service out there. Sorry that happened to your computer though!!!
