Since my son was born he has been sick. phenmonia God knows how many times(over 10) ear infections that wouldnt go away GERD DGED Asthma sevear allergies and much more. I had my son going to a family Dr. and after my son turned one and had been sick sooo much I asked her about immune problems...she blew them off. Now my son was just hospitialized again for phenmonia and after getting to leave 3 times and coming back within 2 days they tested. Again after I asked. The results came back and the Dr. came in and told me I was right my son has a defficency but that it would take a specialist to tell me how bad. He then told me not to take my son back to school(he was so sick they told me he couldnt handle anything else) So I had to quit my job and Im loving getting to spend time with him exspecilay after the terrible events that led us to the hospitial....but I am so scared. I talk to family and friends but no one understands what its been like although they try.  I research and research non stop to understand and some of it is scarey. We begin the specialist again starting next week. I guess I just need to know Im not the only one.

Wow it sounds like youhad my daughter for the first year of life. My ped sent her to an immun,/ allergy dr. It help so much.! I understand the issues your talking about my daughter had phenmonia like 6 times the first year. SHe stopped breathing and then we ended up on the breathing machaines. My daughter has out grown but what helped the issue was she had food allergys. She was on soy formula and once we took her off that and stopped giving her some of the foods she was allergic to we say a new child it didnt fix it all but it allowed her body to over come some of the other issues like the ear issues. My daughter has had serval sets of tubes. SHe need a  Mastoidectomy. They went into the bone and shaved it down so the infection would be able to live in the deep pores in the bone. Big surgery but it help so much!Even after my family memebers seeing the pictures and seeing her like that they still think I made a bigger issue of it then I needed to. No one understands until there child is there. If you ever need to vent Ill be more then happy to. Best wishes and Ill send a prayer your way.
