Lasagna?

I used the search posts and went through the recipe post but didn't find anything for lasagna.  I've been craving some lasagna Florentine like crazy but my commissary doesn't sell it.  Has anyone tried using the crock pot to make lasagna?  I'm not vegan and love cheese so that's ok in any recipes that you have.  Thanks a TON!

Slow Cooker Vegetarian Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 c frozen veggie crumbles (Like Boca, etc) .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can sliced tomatoes .
  • 1 (8 oz) package shredded Italian cheese mix or 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese .
  • 1 (26 oz) jar marinara sauce (I like Prego) .
  • 1 (15 oz) container part-skim ricotta cheese .
  • 1 (8 oz) package no-boil lasagna noodles .
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen sliced spinach, thawed & squeezed dry

Directions

  • Step #1 In medium bowl, mix marinara sauce & tomatoes with their juice.
  • Step #2 Spray 4.
  • Step #3 5-6 quart slow cooker (aka crockpot) bowl with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #4 Spoon 1 c tomato-sauce mixture into bowl.
  • Step #5 Arrange 1/4 of noodles over sauce, overlapping noodles & breaking into large pieces to cover as much sauce as possible.
  • Step #6 Spoon about 3/4 c sauce over noodles, then top this with 1/2 c ricotta, & 1/2 c shredded cheese.
  • Step #7 Spread half of spinach over cheese.
  • Step #8 Repeat layering 2 more times beginning with noodles, but in middle layer, replace spinach with frozen crumbles.
  • Step #9 Place remaining noodles over spinach, then top this with remaining sauce & shredded cheese.
  • Step #10 Cover up slow cooker (aka crockpot) with lid & cook on low 4 hours or high 2 hours
  • Enjoy the Slow Cooker Vegetarian Lasagna recipe
