Poop problems are driving me nuts please HELP

Anthony turned 3 at the end of September and the poop training is driving me smoke again.  He hasn't had a wet accident in months, even gets up in the middle of the night to go potty.  He'll go in the bathroom by himself to pee but will not poop constantly in the potty.

I've tried rewards, making him sit there until he poops, leaving him alone, letting him have a toy, sending in daddy, yelling, being super nice about it,  giving stickers, and nothing has worked.

I've read through some of the threads and it's nice to know I'm not alone but I want to leave that group behind.

Has anyone figured this out??

Have you tried putting him in cold/lukewarm showers every single time he poops on himself and letting him know it will happen every single time?  The showers should be miserable for him- get in, get clean and get out- no fun and no toys.

ok, dont worry..my lil girl turns 4 on november 15th. there was a time were pooping in potty i thought would never happen..so 1st thing i did was let her do it her way for a lil while and tell her now when you go poopie in potty, you get 4 M&Ms. and when she went pepe in potty i would praise her hard core to let her know your super happy about that so they will eventually make the connection that hey, if mom is happy bout pepe then she may be happy bout poopie in potty, and mom says ill get M&Ms.

so after bout 1 month of her doing it her way and me trying to get her to understand she'll get M&Ms for poopie in potty ONLY(she tried to think shed get them if she went poopie regardless of were it was lol smart one). and praising her alot for pepe, even though shes been doing good for so long. then i would pay attention on around bout what time she normally goes potty, and once shed just out of the blue run to her room and got quiet, id run in there and tel her "no babe, lets go give the potty a present, its his birthday", and suddently she was all happy bout it. once or twice before shed accidently go poopie in potty while going pepe, so i praised her hard core for that...but she really started working with me bc it was the Pottys Birthday lol. then i would praise her hard core, make everyone clap, and give her the M&Ms, and tell her shes such a big girl and im so proud. id love on her, give her kisses ect... once in a while ill still have to catch her before she goes to tell her bout the pottys birthday, but recently shes gone on her own occasionally so thats a start. i hope these help.

My son will be 4 in January and he REFUSES!! to go poop on the potty.  No amount of bribes, rewards, or threats and punishments have made a difference.  I wanted to try poop jail but my husband is not in favor of it.  I might try the cool/lukewarm baths, I'm willing to do anything at this point because I am so sick of cleaning out poopy underwear.

Is hubby helping with cleaning the poopy underwear out?  If not, I don't think he should have a say! LOL
