My 2 1/2 years old daughter wont pooh in the toilet at all. She been peeing fine and tells me when she has to go but not when she has to pooh. I'll see her squatting down or she starts farting a lot I'll take her in the bathroom and after 10-15 mins nothing. After she gets off and I'm doing something she poops. I really dont know what to do its making me crazy and its been 3 weeks since I started potty training her.

If she's waiting to poop when you aren't around or hiding to poop, she may need privacy to poop.  So, when you take her to poop, walk outside the bathroom and leave her on her own to see if she'll be able to relax and poop without you in there with her.  You can also try blowing bubbles for her to relax her and get her mind off of what you want her to do.

OH can i relate?!? therefore i cant be of much help..but my son is 2 and i introduced my son to potty training when he was 7months old. right away he began pee'n on it. since then he has gained all the logic involved with the potty. flushing, wiping, washing hands, etc. but he will not go number 2! he's now taking his pants and diaper off and bringing it to me when he poops but just like your daughter, if i see him squatting down ill put him on the potty and NOTHING but pee. almost as soon as i take him off he'll go in his diaper! so aggravating. but i keep trying and i guess thats all you can do too lol!

i tried the privacy thing too, thinking it may be an embarrassment issue or something but its still not working for us. but i was so sure that was it becuase he'll try and distract me or change the subject when he's on the potty but when i first left he unrolled all the toilet paper and removed all the things on the back of the toilet. not a smart move on my part-so now im sure to remove everything, so if u try that dont forget! lol or it may be a big big mess.

You can stand right outside the door and still be able to look into the bathroom to make sure they aren't getting into things they shouldn't! LOL

My son will be 3 next month and wont poo in the potty either. He poos in his underwear and then tells us he pooed. He doesn't like you in the bathroom when he is going potty either. Every time he goes potty he shuts the door in your face, even with public bathrooms, you can't be in the same stall as him. I think it's cute and funny.

My is 3 and just like you guys I had trouble getting him to poop. So one of my friends suggested taking his toys. This was the only thing that worked for me. This was in November. So I took his toys and within 2-3 days he was pooping on the pot. Now he is telling me that he has to go. It was just something that worked for me. Just wanted to share.

My son is also 2 1/2 years old and we've got the pee thing down (he even wakes me at night to pee) but the poop makes me want to pull my hair out.  He pooped on the potty once at my mom's house and that was because the toilet is too far away of anything that he could possibly play with.  At home, he'll just get down or distract himself by kicking the tub.  And I only put him on when I know he has to poop.. it's very frustrating.  I'd love any advice as well!
