My son Micah will not poop on the potty. I have used everything that i can think of and it does not work. He will wait until it is nap time when i put on his pull up and he will poop then. I am trying the poop jail and it is not working. So i will keep trying if you have any ideas please let me know.
Get rid of the naptime pull up and see if that helps any. Some kids hold it until they know a diaper/pull up is coming and always go in them that way.
How long has he been trained for pee?
How old is he?
What exactly are you doing with the poop jail? Are you following it exactly as it's described? Are you leaving him in the bathroom, with no clothes on except for meals and bedtime? And are you doing it day after day after day until he goes poop?
Micah finally pooped on the pot. He has been doing this for almost a month. What worked for us was taking all of his toys out of his room even his books. The only thing that I left was his bed, rocking chair, nd dresser. Within a day or two he was pooping on the potty. After about a week of doing this everyday Igave him his toys back. A couple of accidents but he is still doing it.
