I know I'm getting ahead of myself but i like to prepare myself for the next step and ease my way in. We are a few days into day training... and I know it could be months before night training but my question is. If you should limit the intake of fluids before bed, I guess breastfeeding is out then? She only nurses minimal times a day and right before bed is her time, she loves it and can't go to sleep without it. I know a lot can change over a few months but should i start somehow trying to change that? I'm a true believer in letting them wean themselves and would hate to impede anything here.
If you are going to try to night train her at some point, then yes, the night breast feeding is going to have to stop most likely. If you are dead set on continuing to bf you will have to delay night training.
Honestly, you may want to totally delay potty training until after she's weaned or else she might well regress once she's weaned.
If you believe child-lead weaning is right for you, there's no reason why night training should get in the way of that... my daughter was daytime trained at 19 months and now a full year and some change later, is still waking up soaked in the morning... What's the harm, really. We tried some night training stuff and it just didn't work... and may have been the start of some of the major sleep issues we're dealing with right now (impossible to know for sure)... Plus there's always the chance that your daughter will start waking up on her own to pee or will start staying dry all night without waking -- plenty of children "night train" themselves this way, right at the same time as they daytime train. Your daughter may turn out to be able to handle milk before bed and still be dry in the morning or wake to pee. Or she may just night train later... I wouldn't start weaning her if you're not ready or she's not, in other words, if that's not where you're at right now).
