We have been fighting a constant battle with my eldest daughter and pooping. After many attempts at bribery, coercion, yelling, threats (I'm going to take away...) and having to follow through on a threat my fiance and I have finally decided to just let it be. I warned her teacher (Pre-K) that she won't tell them most the time and I think she is starting to tell them because I don't hear about it from them. She comes home in her accident clothes once every other week so I think she's doing better. Maybe not giving in to the frustration was exactly what she needed us to do.
I think that being in Pre-K is helping out alot with it after all she's in a room full of her peers and they don't have a multitude of accidents everyday. It was rough for the first month but it really does seem to be getting better.
I'm honestly surprised they let her attend school since she wasn't fully potty trained.
Hopefully she's going to get thru this sooner rather than later.
At the time school started she was only having a few a week but usually in the AM before school started so while I told her teacher that she'll sit in it instead of saying something I figured the influence of other kids would be beneficial to her potty training. The teacher and the Aid were really good about it and they've actually had a few this year that have been worse then Starra. She has a change of clothes in her cubby like everyone else and if she's sick I send her with a spare set. She's only there for 3 hours but does seem to be heading toward the other side. It would have been nice to have her done before but the reality is that she has a stubborn streak a mile long LoL
