this is why you shouldnt teach little boys to pee standing up

 because then they will never sit on the potty to poop!! my 2 year old (3 in april) will NOT for anything sit on the potty to poop! he'll stand beside the potty and poop in his underwear... if i sit him on the potty he freaks out! "I BOY I NO SIT!!!" im at the end of my rope with this i blame his father who taught him to pee standing up not thinking in the future he wouldnt sit on the potty ever.... my 3 and 1 year old will but not him WHY!!

 he did not want to hear it i even had him watch his brother poop and still its like it went right over his head, i know he's ready cause he tells me when he has to go he just refuses to sit on the potty to poop

Let him go to the bathroom with his dad and brother when they go poop for a while.

Also, you may need to offer him a reward for sitting to poop for a bit to get him to realize that that's how it's done.

Have his daddy teach him to poop. I agree with PP about having him go with daddy and his brother. We trained first to sit on the potty and then to stand up to pee. We are still not poop trained yet but are 95% pee trained my son is 2.5 yrs.

I agree with having daddy and his brother teach him it's ok to sit and poop ..........come on daddy you sit when you gotta do it show your boy it's ok and not girly to sit on the potty  HUGZ from Azra's mom
