I would really like some good helpful advice on how to potty train my 3 year old to poopy in the potty.  She will pee just fine in the potty.  She will poopy first then tell me that she has to potty.

How long has she been successfully pee trained?

Does she have a certain place she likes to go to poop (behind a couch, in a closet, in a corner, etc.)?

What have you done to try to poop train her?

she has been pee trained only for a few days, but she will poop at random anywhere she wants!

If she's only been pee trained a few days, you just need to hang in there.  Poop success almost always comes after pee success.  Pee and poop use different muscles and it's different feelings of "need to go" for each of them.  Just do your best to watch her and when it seems she needs to poop, get her to the toilet.  You may need to get some books/toys that she only gets when she's sitting trying to poop or you can even blow bubbles to try to get her mind off of things.

Hang in there!  She'll get it! :-)
