NIght time mini-regression

My daughter is 2.5 yr old. She has been potty trained for about 5-6 months now. Has been doing great...no accidents.

For the last couple of weeks she has been pooping and peeing in her bed at night. We thought it was on purpose or her being too lazy to get up in the morning.

We have recently found that she is doing it while still asleep. For example, yesterday she went to the bathroom before nap, then 30 minutes later Daddy went in to check on her and she had pooped her panties.

What to do? We cut off liquids, she goes to bathroom before bed, and uses the potty to poop and pee all day with no issues. I do not believe in pull-ups and will not go back to diapers. We have been diaper free for 6 months and will keep it that way!!

But what can I do? We have watched and it is while she is in a dead-sleep????? Thanks in advance and sorry this is long.

Is she pooping during the day still?

Yes she is regular during the day. We have watched her and it is definetly when she IS asleep. This is new for us, since she has always been a great sleeper and was easy to potty train. Now there is this....

Has anything about her schedule changed at all (good, bad or what seems unimportant)?

See that is it....nothing has.....we have been on the same routine, same eating schedule and everything. It's not every night either. Like last night she did not poop, just peed. So it is weird...

I'd probably talk to the dr about it.  Not saying anything is wrong but there might be some explanation I'm unaware of.

I had a thought....could this be considered "bed wetting" instead of potty-training regression?? SInce it is not all the time?

Yeah, I'd think it might be bet wetting but the pooping part is what has me stumped.
