Watch out for the bridge at Avon/Livernois

A turn lane has been closed on a bridge after crews discovered a danger of it collapsing.

The Road Commission for Oakland County released a statement saying a beam had failed on the Avon Road bridge over the Clinton River, just east of Livernois Road.
