How do you get past Scared?

Hello Everyone,
First I want to let everyone here know that I love reading your posts. Because of them I get very excited about being a successful WAHM. I am still having trouble with the fear. I still fill like I am not going about this all right. I am nervous everytime I pick up the phone to make one of my calls, and so far I haven't had any GOOD luck with my business. All of you women seem very successful and full of wisdom. I would greatly appreciate any advice to help me to over come my fears, and be as great as you all are. I know that everyone started out where I am now. So what did you all do to be so successful?

Hey Sebrina,

Your "WHY" has to be bigger than your FEAR.  You have to tap into that "WHY" every time it creeps up.  Write it down and KEEP it where you can SEE it DAILY!

I personally used to actually throw up before dialing prospects--really!  But I quickly figured out that they couldn't EAT ME alive and that I too could hang up if I wanted. 

MOST of those leads were/are Moms just like us--looking for a REAL opportunity.  Also, the MORE dials you make the MORE comfortable you become because you learn to RELAX and be yourself.  People WILL love you!

Don't be so hard on yourself but don't expect overnight success.  It takes YEARS for a college degree. Why would it take less time starting a new career in the home business industry?

Failure cannot be an option!  Make the  phone your friend.  Smile, Dial and then LAUGH all the way to the bank!

I used to be scared too, when I first started, but overtime you just get better and better at making calls and then it becomes more fun than anything!  With me it took time, I had to get to know they company I work for, I had to get to know the products, and now that I know a lot about them both and truely believe in the products I'm selling it's more a passion than a sale.  It will take time, but it will being to come natural after a while, just don't give up!  Think positive thoughts and keep pursuing and it will come!
