Hi! I am looking for a good homemade bread recipe. Trying to change a few things in our diet, cut out some processed foods. Honestly can't do it all but I figure every little bit helps.
So does anyone know where I can get a recipe for bread, for sandwiches and toasting mostly.
When I count my blessings I count chocolate twice.

This one is good - I use a bread making machine so you may need to adjust as relates to order of ingredients and activating yeast if doing it by hand:
1 cup water; 2 Tbsp canola oil; 2 Tbsp maple syrup; 2 1/2 cups flour (I use unbleached); 1/2 cup whole wheat flour; 3 Tbsp powdered milk; 1 1/2 tsp salt; 2 tsp active yeast.
Our bread machine calls for ingredients in the order listed. Makes a 1.5 pound loaf. Great texture for sandwiches/toast, etc.
