"For the Roses" by Julie Garwood?? She also has in the series "One Red Rose", "One Pink Rose", "One White Rose" and "Come the Spring". I love "For the Roses" and "Come the Spring", but I was very disappointed with the other three. They were more like short stories. Every one of these books is about one member of the same family and I felt that the author gipped the reader out of these three characters stories. Just my opinion and wanted to know if anyone felt the same way.

I haven't read it, but the series sounds like an interesting concept.

I like Julie Garwood. I can see where you could be left with that. "For the Roses" was longer but it told how everything started then went into Mary Rose's life after she grew up kinda like a 2 for 1

I've never read these.  If I do, what order should I read them in?  I mean, should I read For the Roses first then the next four?
