I am running an online party at my Tupperware site to raise money for a memorial scholarship fund in my nieces name. This is a fundraiser party. 25% of all sales are going to the Kendal Stone Memorial Scholarship. Kendal was my niece who died at only 9 days old three years ago. She was born by C-section prematurely due to a rare condition that caused the placenta to pump blood out of her body. Once born, a transfusion was done, but it was not soon enough. Kendal went brain dead due to no blood or oxygen going to her brain for too long of a period of time. My sister-in-law is a high school teacher in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Every year in Kendal's memory, my brother and sister-in-law give away a $500 scholarship in her name to an outstanding student that is entering the medical field.
As a member of the family, I want to help keep this scholarship alive, and am doing this fundraiser to help contribute to the scholarship fund.
