I was diagnosed with JRA when I was 6. Although, I never had any real signifigant pain, I suffered the loss of my eye sight. I have had the cataracts caused by JRA removed and artificial lenses implanted in both my eyes. Now, ten years later, they say my body is rejecting the lenses. The new Dr. wanted to put me on methotrexate, however, I did a lot of research into it and I don't think I shoud gamble with the side effects effecting my heart and liver.
Has anyone had these problems, and if so, what alternatives are there?
