Well it depends on what state your in..I live in GA so I went to this web site Real Estate Express.com and signed up for my pre license course..after that you take a test and you have it..

Hello, I am Kellie and a realtor in N.C. I just started in Jan. after 7 years of teaching. I have three children ages 6, 5, and 1 and a husband deployed to Iraq. I think I am a bit crazy to try and start this new career right now. Look forward to talking to you and venting when needed.

I got my license during my second pregnancy, but haven't used it yet. My husband and I are hoping this career will support us when hes out of the military. I'm a little apprehensive, but it would be great if it works out!

Jason gets out in Jan and as of right now I can support us both on my monthly intake...I make over double what he does and he's a E-6...I have only been doing this for a little while but within 2 weeks I made $6000.00 which to me was CRAZY!! Everyone told me that when you first start that it takes a year to start actually making money unless you have family out where u sell at than you start making money sooner.  I live in GA and my closest family live in AZ so that wasn't my case..I just started to talk to the for sale by owners or fsbo's and started to list there houses..I love my job and the free time it gives me...I hope everyone is doing GREAT!!

Hello! My name is Lisa. I have had my license in Arizona for about 9 years. I've also been licensed in Virginia for about 3 years. I've pretty much been part time because my kids were all little. Now my kids are all just about to start school, so now I go full time, YEAH!

I am a mommy of 2 in Texas and have been a realto for just shy of 8 years.  I work from my home office so I can stay home with the kiddos.  During the summer they go with me on showings and listings but when my 6 year old is in school my 8 month old comes.  My dh is an airline pilot so I always let clients know that I will have them with me.

Hello everyone,

My name is Mashel and I am a 9 Year Realtor in Pa. I have sold in Colorado and Louisiana but now concentrate on Pa. Currently I am on a 3 person team in Pittsburgh and do more assisting than selling these days. I have 2 small boys at home and had to figure out a way to stay active without being active all the time. This situation is working out however my career production is down while my team production is in the top 5% of Pittsburgh. In other words the other 2 keep me beyond busy!!! I miss selling (commissions) but know this is the right choice for us right now.

Would love to network and exchange some unique ideas...I have tons of tips so lets share!!
