HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, Ladies!
Here's a marvelous icing recipe that can be used for any type of cake or cookie, as it's not super-sweet, but "oh so yummy"! I made some today and used it to frost my Valentine cupcakes.
Cream Cheese/Cool Whip Icing
1 - 8oz. Cream cheese, softened at room temp
1/4 cup softened butter
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 Cup powdered sugar
Mix cream cheese and butter w/electric hand mixer until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until throughly combined. Add cool whip until completely mixed in.
This makes a lot, but any leftover will freeze well.
