An environmentally friendly recipe for repelling pesky insects. Most effective against cabbage lopers, aphids and thrips. Recipe from The Charlotte Observer.
3 cups (change servings and units)
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap
- 3-4 garlic cloves, mashed
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 cups water
Directions

Combine all ingredients. -

Mix and strain. -

Place mixture into water and stir. -

Pour Bug Repellent into a spray bottle. -
5
Use as needed in vegetable or flower gardens.
