i just finished watching the 1st season [for probably the 100th time lol] and am i the only one that wishes tristan and rory had gotten together after madeline's party when they kissed?

I cannot believe you posted this question. I go back and forth on this all the time. I think that if they did date she would have been sucked into her mothers old world much earlier than she was. Although I wasn't a huge fan of Dean (too needy and overbearing) I don't think Tristan is right for her either. Plus it would have caused huge issues with Paris who liked him at the time and I like how the Rory and Paris story played out in the end.

i like how her and paris story turned out to, i just think it would have been intresting seeing how he tried so hard to date her

When I first read this, I thought NOPE! right away, but then I thought about it. It would have been interesting. But I think my favorite ended up being Logan or Jess. IDK, I'm still torn! LOLOL
