Season 8

So I was watching re runs on abc family and they are advertising for the new season to start on june 8th.   Well I was just goofing off on the internet and I found a site that was saying that they were canceling it.  Does anyone know about this??  I so hope they do a new one.  I love the show.

Sorry, from what I've read, ABC Family finally got the rights to air Season 7, which they've never shown before.

Do you mean season 7?  I've not heard of a season 8.  I just got done watching season 7 on DVD and I cried! (of course I had seen it before)

I was just coming on here to post the same thing. I saw the commercial too and it said all new season coming June 8th. I am very confused. Is it an actual new season or just the re runs from the last season that they never aired? I really hope its a whole new season that would be so awesome.

Ok, seriously.  I don't think it's season 8.  It doesn't say SEASON 8, it says all new season.  They mean a season they've never shown before.  If it was season 8, I think we'd see it everywhere, and it would specifically say SEASON 8.  I hope I'm wrong, but I really think it's just season 7 replayed, because they've not previously been able to play it on ABC family, although it's on DVD so it doesn't make sense, but either way, sorry, I don't think its' season 8.

ABC family website says Season 7 to air in June. No season 8. Sorry but I don't think we will ever see a season 8 or a movie.

Lauren Graham was just recently on rachael ray and she is currently in New York on Broadway doing Guys and Dolls

She mentioned she has no idea if they will ever do a movie and they talked half the time about gilmore girls and no new season was ever mentioned as much as Rachael boasted about the show so much and  if it was true and had already been filmed they would have talked about it

ABC family is only airing season 7 but I agree that they should not say new season. While its new to ABC Fam it is not new to the fans that they got all excited just to be let down ya know?

Thanks guys for getting my hopes up and then they were crushed again. I am going to bed sad and depressed. Season 8, ugh. Oh well I guess I'll be watching season 7.

I know that I am a bit late with this, but in case there is still some confusion... I just looked on my info on my TV and they are playing the season premire of season 7. The one where she wakes up after sleeping with Christopher. I miss that show like crazy and would have been totally stoked if they were to come up with a truely new season.

I found the same thing. I am just now being able to see season 7. I have never seen it before.
