This group is for Creative moms who either have or suspect that they have ADD/ADHD. We have been around for 2 years and it has certainly been a learning experience!
Society can be a difficult place to function when you have ADD/ADHD. It can be so hard to keep up with daily life. Being a mom can just make it that much more difficult. It can be very hard to fit in with people who do not have or understand ADD/ADHD. A lot of people do not believe that ADD/ADHD even exists. They think that we are using excuses but they do not walk in our shoes and if they did just for one day they would get it!
I created this group 2 years ago so moms with ADD/ADHD can have a safe place to discuss the good and bad things about having ADD/ADHD. In the 2 years that we have been here, there has not been ONE problem between our members. Not one unkind word or discussion has taken place. This is a place for support and advice!
Having ADD/ADHD is not ALL bad. The ADD mind is a very creative mind.There is a post for ADD moms to show off their talents! Please show us what you do for your creative outlet. It can be anything from art to writing to decorating! We certainly have some very talented moms in our group!
We also have lots of advice and testamonies from some wonderful ADD moms. Many moms who read through our many different posts and replies feel like they are reading about themselves. It feels so great to FINALLY realize that they are not alone and that there is at least one safe place to vent if your going through a hard time.
