Were you surprised with who the killer was or did you figure it out? If you figured it out, what was your big clue?

It kinda did anger me. I just found myself going whhhhhat? I did think for a tiny second in the beginning he may have done it, but then said there is no way. I was just thinking of who all was there playing basketball. The end angered me some. I mean yes he got what was coming to him, but he never seemed sorry for actually committing the murders. He was just crazy LOL anyways I thought this was an OK book :) I found myself feeling really bad for Kate...what do you think of Kate's position since the truth came out about Tom?
I was totally surprised and it actually made the book for me, since I wasn't really into it up until that point. Although I will say about 30 pages before the reveal I started to wonder why his brother and nephew had been introduced in the book.
I do understand why it angered others cause I think it was a bit of an easy out to who the murderer was. Basically give us no clues and then shock us with the reveal.
At the end I think Kate was on the right track just to get out of town and do her own thing. Their original break-up was never really fully explained, but she should probably think about why she took him back.
Also I thought the final reveal would be the Tom was working for Mack or that he was some sort of Irish mobster, it was hinted but not really confirmed.
