Angry Housewives Eating Bons Bons by Lorna Landvik is the story of five women in a book club in Minnesota from 1968 to 1998. These "angry housewives" do much more than eat bon bons. They support each other through good and bad, finding a lifeline in their friendships.
I read this quite a while ago, and remember I enjoyed it, but that's all I remember about it.
I haven't read it.. don't know I missed it..
its also on my list.

Vintage BooksSet in the South during the 1960s, this coming of age story deals with race, love and Lily Owen's search for a connection with her mother who died when she was young. It's an especially good summer read, when you can imagine sipping Coke on a porch and smelling jasmine.
I have read this several times and enjoyed it, as well as the movie they made of it.
I loved the Time Traveler's Wife. I also recommend Midwives. It drew me into the story and I thought about it for days afterwards I liked Angry Housewives and Secret Lifeof Bees. I thought I'd like the Divine Secets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood but didn't. I'll have to read the other two.
I've read The Secret Lives of Bees, The Time Travelers Wife, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and Midwives, I'll have to check out the others!
Its on my "I have to read that soon" list
Quoting .Lovemythree.:
The only one I have read is the secret life of bees, I liked it.
