I read The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, I gave up on her other short stories after about 5 though.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Also during the last week of September, usually, the American Library Association sponsors "Banned Book Week" I know I'm shameless with my library plugs, aren't I?
They have all sorts of ideas & promos on their website to raise awareness of censorship, etc.

"And Tago Makes Three" was a very interesting book to do research on. I had for a recent literature class wrote an essay explaining both view points of why and why not it should be allowed in schools.
I picked one to read, sorry I'm a returning student who is expecting any day.

I had no clue Gone With The Wind was a banned book. It's one of my absolute favorites!!!!!
