Gabby has been sick for over a month between sinus colds and bronchitis 2 times now. I read  online that bronchitis is common with the masto..has anyone heard of this before?

I've never heard of this before. Sorry I'm no help. I hope Gabby feels better soon.

My son was sick with colds and "upper respiratory infections" off and on his first year (he is now 16 months) He was diagnosed with masto at 10 months. I did hear that respiratory issues and asthma are common among masto kids. We got the doctor to give us a nebulizer for home use so we didn't need to rush into the hospital every time the wheezing set in. That really helps.

Thanks for the replies, we do have the nebulizer which she is supposed to be on every 4 hours along with inhalers but i really try to use it a few times a day but when it seems most needed. We are now being told to go to an allergist and check that route. Im just hoping nothing they do triggers her masto to flare up or cause issues.

My son had some allergy testing done as well but it all turned up negative... We thought maybe his symptoms were an allergy to something like cats. But turns out he is not allergic to any of the common stuff they test for.

When we took him in, they talked about doing the skin tests, but then the allergist said the pricking of the skin in itself may cause a reaction so she elelcted to do a blood draw and tested the blood rather than the skin. We had no reactions, so maybe that is an idea for you.
