Ban BPA in baby bottles

It seems obvious that a toxin that has been linked to cancer, reproductive problems and a wide range of developmental issues in early childhood should not be in the very things that our children put in their mouths. Yet Bisphenol-A (BPA) has be found in a growing number of containers and products – including baby bottles and teething rings!

Please sign the petition in support of the BPA-Free Kids Act »

Recently, Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand from New York introduced a new bill that would prohibit the manufacture and sale of food and beverage containers for infants and toddlers that are made of BPA.

But we need to make sure this bill passes as soon as the Senate returns to work in a couple of weeks, rather than delay and put even more kids at risk of exposure to this toxic chemical in 2010.

It's about time we protect our children from this needless toxin. Please join us and urge the Senate to support the BPA-Free Kids Act »

Thank you for taking action!
