Hi.  I am a big city gal who is itching to get to the country and a more sustainable lifestyle.  If things work out, we will begin doing that this summer.  I need to get out of town before the neighbors start complaining about my chickens!  I'm glad to find you all and hope that we care share some good ideas on how to live the way God intended us to live.

hey i am new too hi...i would love to have chickens but our backyard is to small..hehe  that is cool..so were are you going to be moving? You say you live in the city were are ya?  gotta go chow for now...

I live in Houston now.  We are hoping to move about an hour out of town to acreage.  We have 2 chickens in town.  We have a chicken tractor that my husband made.  We just move it around the yard.  It is great fun.  They are so fun to watch.  The kids just love them.  And we get eggs!
