We are looking at buying some acreage out of town and radically changing our lifestyle.  We live in a huge city now.  We went and visited the property over the weekend.  It has many varieties of fruit and nut trees on it.  I am in hog heaven at the prospect.  As I was checking out the trees, I noticed that some are doing better than others.  They have been neglected for several years.  I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get these trees producing again?  I think it was the apricot, peach, and plum trees that were having the most trouble.

Thanks!

Oh you must be in heaven! How nice.

The only thing I can think of is getting some compost or organic fertlizer on it.

Yeah.  I plan to trim them, too.  There are a lot of dead branches and they just generally need to be tended.  I hope we can secure financing.  I'm itching to get up there.

Thanks.
