I know it's not pleasant to think about, but it seems like all of the stories on the news around here (the Dayton area) lately have been about people who hurt children. Please, please, PLEASE tell me that there is nicer news out there somewhere.

I bet someone is in tooth fairy heaven! How much does the tooth fairy bring these days? I'm sure it's up from the 25 cents it used to be.

He usually gets $2 per tooth (I thought that was high too until a little boy in his class told me he got $10 per tooth LOL) but he got up this morning and said "I got $2 *again* lol so we're only leaving him $1 tonight. See what he thinks about that lol Tomorrow night we'll put the other $1 under his pillow with a note ;)

There is better news out there. The problem is bad news sells!!! It is the people in this world that thrive off of this and the media delivers time and time again!!! There are wonderful things that happen everyday, everywhere but the media doesn't think it sells. I have gotten to the point where I turn on the news once or twice a week. Just like the war on terrorism, I know for a fact we have done so much there but you never see those stories on tv. We have helped build schools, given women the opportunity to vote for the first time, and supplied children with clothes, school supplies, etc. Our military has done some amazing things for the people of Afghanistan and Iraq.. But like I said, you will never see those things on TV... Maybe we should try to find a positive peice of news and post it on here... What a way to pay it forward to one another!!! Have a great day ladies.
