New Ohio Mom

Hello all,

My name is Misty, I picked this group because it is small and I love my state. I am from Tiffin Ohio in Seneca county about a 35 minute drive north of Findlay. I am into ghost hunting (not avidly I'm a big chicken) but I just love it. I am a born again Christian, (not very good at that either but God knows me) and I have three really totally awesome kids. I love exploring Ohio and try to go some place diffrent each year (although we always visit the Toledo Zoo and Cedar Point every year). I also love the history behind our town and the towns my mom lived in, (Marion, and Bellfountain). I am lookin forward to talkin with all of you and just having a great time on here. It's 3:50 am. I'm a third shifter so if I'm in bed too early I will never get my nap in before work Sunday night lol.

Wow...ghost hunting. I could never. I know for sure that I am way too chicken for that. My "baby daddy" however, used to spend every Halloween weekend with the other male members of his family spending the night in the old prison in Mansfield. You know, the one they used in "Shawshank Redemption." Spooky! Wait...let me make that scary!

Yeah sure do, they featured that prison on one of my favorite shows, Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi. One of the clips from that show is out of this world unbelivably hair raising.  It's on the net somewhere. One of my friends wanted me to go with her for the night. There is no way in hell told her she was out of her mind lol, the most I do is goin out at 1 am and takin pics of supposadly haunted spots in town, like our museum, and some cemetaries (from across the road of couse, and never never alone.)

My brother used to belong to a ghost hunters group that was based out of Columbus. They used to go to old houses and cemetaries at night *looking* for ghosts.

Hi. I live in Hamilton near Cincinnati. I am originally from Dayton but have been in this area for 13 yrs. Every year around Halloween they have tours of  "Dayton Lane" homes which are very old and very big. The owners claim that they are haunted. I would love to go but so far haven't ....guess I am too chicken if it is really true. Have you been to it? If not, I can find info. for you...It is supposed to be really cool. I am trying to get up to Cedar Pt. this summer. My DD who is now 9 has never been. Talk to you later
