when i met my husband i was letting my soon to be ex husband still live with me b/c he didnt have place to go and my husband was living with his g/f at the time. I went to his house for a bonfire and we hit it off good he was showing me the house he just bought. We realized we had so much in common. Well a month after that he broke it off with his g/f and we met up at the bar with our friends b/c we have the same friends and that night i went to his house with our friends and stayed the night and after that I started to stay with him more then at home b/c it was kinda weird dating my hubby when my soon to be ex husband was still living at my house. Well two months after dating we realized that we were ment to be i was looking for everything he was! I wanted an older man that was mature and had his stuff together, and someone that would treat me the way i should be treated. He has two kids that are living with him and i had my four year old son. He asked me to move in and love him for the rest of my life and in my heart i knew it was the right thing to do. He was everything I wanted i thought finally i man i could love forever and not worry about being abusive or cheating on me and a man that would love me till death do us part. We got engaged Jan. 13th 2008 and started planning for a spring wedding not knowing I was pregnant already. April 21st we tied the knot with family with us. It was so special!

	by ShoesRLove on May. 8, 2008 at 11:46 PM I WAS A SERVER AT RED LOBSTER AND HE CAME IN WITH A GROUP OF MY FRIENDS. I HAD NEVER MET HIM THOUGH. HE WAS ON A DATE WITH ANOTHE GIRL. I DIDN'T TALK TO HIM AND WHEN HE PAYED THE BILL HE LEFT ME A $60 TIP ON A $30 BILL... I THOUGHT HE ADDED AN EXTRA 0 ON ACCIDENT, MEANING $6. WHEN I CAME BACK FROM THE BACK THE GROUP WAS GONE. I KNEW WHERE THEY WERE GOING {A LOCAL BAR} SO AFTER MY SHIFT ENDED I CASHED OUT AND WENT THERE TO RETURN HIS $. I WALKED IN AND HE WAS SITTING AT THE BAR ALONE. i WALKED UP AND EXPLAINED WHY I WAS THERE. HE SAID IT WASN'T A MISTAKE. THEN I GOT MAD, HE WAS TRYING TO GET MY ATTENTION. I TOLD HIM WHAT A PIECE OF TRASH HE WAS FOR TRYING TO PICK ME UP WHILE ON A DATE WITH ANOTHER GIRL. HE EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY AND JUST DIDN'T WANT TO GO ALONE, THEY WERE NOT DATING. I STILL WAS NOT INTRESTED IN DATING. SO I GAVE HIM HIS EXTRA $ BACK AND LEFT. THE NEXT DAY I LEFT FOR WASHINGTON DC FOR 9 DAYS. EVERYDAY HE CAME INTO RED LOBSTER LOOKING FOR ME, ASKING THE BARTENDER {WHO WAS MY ROOMATE, HAHA} SHE LET HIM SWEAT. I CAME BACK TO WORK AND THERE HE WAS, SITTING AT MY TABLE... HE REALLY WAS A SWEETIE BUT I WAS NOT INTRESTED.... I FINALY GAVE IN ABOUT A MONTH LATER OF HIM STALKING ME, LOL. WE'VE BEEN VERY HAPPILY MARRIED 3 YEARS ON MAY 15TH.. HE'S A DREAM COME TRUE AND I'M NOT A SERVER ANYMORE....SORRY SO LONG, BUT THAT'S THE STORY. IF YOU HAVE A BABY NAMED GAVIN COME JOIN MY GOUP GAVIN BABIES.... I'D LOVE TO MEET THEM..

I got up, sang my song and when I was done, he came up to me and introduced himself. We went for a walk on the beach and ending up spending the rest of the night together. We spent just about every spare minute together and 4 months later he proposed. We were married 9 months later and have been happily married ever since. We will be celebrating our 4th anniversary in June
	by karilucas on May. 8, 2008 at 11:54 PM I met my husband almost 3 yrs ago at Friends Bar & Grill. Some friends of mine all went for drinks and appetizers after work and to sing some kareoke. I was gettin ready to sneak out when Tim and some of his friends walked passed me and I thought he was so cute!! Tim heard me say on the phone I was leaving and he asked me not to. I I ended up staying and my best friend Rachel played match maker. It was love at first sight for us and we have been together ever since. Our 1st anniversary is May 12th!! He is the love of my life and my best friend. Karissa Lucas
	by Loveit_84 on May. 9, 2008 at 1:00 AM Well I originally met him in high school. I didn't like him at all, he was really scrawny and hung out with the people I couldn't stand. I didn't know it back then and probably wouldn't have even cared, but he told me he had the hugest crush on me lol. Anyway 2 years ago I met up with him again. We started talking and he came over to my apartment, and we basically haven't been apart since. I am glad we didn't get together in high school though, we probably wouldn't be together now and we wouldn't be the adults we are and know what we really want out of life. I love him more than anything except my son of course, but I couldn't imagine my life without him in it now.

	by jenei_1989 on May. 9, 2008 at 3:50 AM HIGH SCHOOL, MY FRESHMAN YEAR (HE WAS A SOPHOMORE). WE WERE BOTH IN THE ROTC. WE JUST LOOKED AT EACHOTHER FROM AFAR. I HAD A BOYFRIEND AT THE TIME AND HE WAS JUST SHY...LOL (HE STILL HASNT CHANGED). WELL I STARTED HAVING TO WORK WITH HIM MORE DURING MY ROTC CLASS AND I STARTED LIKING HIM FOR HIM, NOT FOR HIS LOOKS. EVEN THOUGH HIS HEIGHT (HES 6'8) HAD CAUGHT MY ATTENTION. SO I STARTED TALKING TO HIM. HE TREATED ME LIKE (WHAT I THOUGHT) WAS CRAP (LIKE BRUSHING ME OF AND BEING SORTA RUDE WHEN I TALKED TO HIM). BUT IT WAS JUST HIM BEING SHY CUZ HE LIKED ME TOO AND WASNT SURE HOW TO ACT AROUND ME!!! WELL AFTER FLIRTING WITH HIM FOREVER, AND HIM NOT TAKING ANY HINTS, I HAD TO ASK HIM OUT. I WAS HIS FIRST GIRLFRIEND. POOR THING HAD NO CLUE HOW IT WAS TO HAVE A GIRL "HIT" ON HIM! (AND HE STILL DOESNT..EVEN WHEN STUPID WOMEN HIT ON HIM WHEN WE ARE OUT AND ABOUT). AND WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER EVER SINCE! I LOVE THAT MAN WITH ALL MY HEART!

He was dating one of my friends but in the process we got to be really good friends... well things didn't work out with them in the long run but we stayed friends and talked all the time. We had a lot in common and were really attracted to eachother but I don't do the whole date your friends ex thing. Esp. since she was really in love with him. That and I had a boyfriend. Well a few months down the road My grandfather passed away and I had to go on emergency leave. Well my friend decided that she was going to sleep with my boyfriend while I was attending my grandfathers funeral...Nice huh? So I felt that I no longer owed it to her as a friend to put my feelings aside.. I guess in the long run I'm greatful for what she did or I would have missed out on meeting the love of my life We started dating and were married a month later.
