how did you meet your hubbie?

My cousin was dating his brother and introduced us. He had just lost his sister about 6 months earlier and was depressed. I was seeing his best friend. They went to school and was talking about this girl they had met. It was me!! I had to chose between the two and chose my now husband of 8 years!! We have been together for 18 and have two wonderful childern.

Our story is a little complicated.

I met my hubby for the first time on a C-130.  We were both in the AF Reserves.  I would catch a "hop" from a local airport on drill weekends when I was in college.  My hubby was a loadmaster.  I remember thinking....holy cow....he's cute....but he's so young.  He must have been brand new with the unit at the time.  It was sometime in 1999.  We kept running into eachother on drill weekends and would catch up and chit chat.  We never dated because we were always dating others at the time.  In the fall of 2000, we actually went out (it was in a group of flyers).  But we really hit it off.  That's when I knew.  Spring of '01 we got engaged.  We got married on about a week and a half after 9/11 on a Thursday, because nobody knew what was going to happen.  I'll never forget our minister the Sunday after 9/11 when we told him we wanted to get married sooner....he looked at his watch and said "How's Thursday work?"

We're going on 7 years and we couldn't be happier.  BTW he didn't get activated with our Reserve unit until Nov. 2003.

He was actually dating a friend of mine at the time.  When he went away to A school she decided to cheat on him with a couple of people and when he came back her mother and other friends told him about it. He came up to me to ask me why me and her weren't hanging out all the time anymore and if everyone was telling the truth. After about 2 months(on thanksgiving) I got a phone call asking if I wanted to go bowling it was her an ex of mine and her ex. so I said yes and turns out she had to be home a lot earlier then me so Mark (DH) took me home after riding around taking and getting to know each other. One thing lead to another and we started dating a week before Christmas. Now we have been married for 13 years.

My hubby was part of the group of friend my new roommate (who helped rescue me from an abusive relationship) introduced me too.. we first met in a bowling alley.. then sand volleyball matches, and then dancing.. then he "told" me he would pick me up at 5pm on a Friday night when the whole group. except me was headed to Las Vegas for a bowling tourny, (I wasn't in the league)  Our first "date" was Las Vegas....

i got a job at this little bar by my house. my husband at the time was not to happy about it but i needed to be able to make good money working nights... (no babysitter) so the guy that was the bouncer (who is now my hubby lol) and I became friends working together. he had 3 kids and i had 1 so we would meet up now and then to let the kids play... we were friends for about 3 years. then my ex started to have issues with it so we stopped talking. after ex and i divorced about another year later i was driving past new hubby's house and just felt the need to stop... we hit it off like we were never apart and became friends again. he asked me out i laughed and said yes thinking it was just as friends, then after the date he kissed me and the rest is history lol...

i met my husband back in 2001. I was a junior and he was a freshman who was dating my ounger sister. we became friends while they dated. his family was stationed to hawaii so of course he had to leave with them, him and my sister were supposed to stay together but she broke his heart after he left. me and him kept in touch somewhat while he was gone. so three years later suprise!! he emails me and tell me his family moved back to CO. so we get together and start out as friends and two weeks later we are together. we had a break up but were still pretty much together so all in all weve been together for the past four years!!!

i met my hubbie in oct 2007.... i had just got my speration from my 1st husband and was liveing with my parents and my two boys..... going to school full time.... i was on myspave one night and he had messaged me.... we started talking.... and not long after that aranged a play date with our kids.... ( my two and his one ) well our boys loved to be around each other and became unspartedable.... in dec i got real sick and was in the hosptial for over a week... not knowing him very long he never left my side at the hospital ( only to go to work ) and he even helped my parents take care of my boys.... gave them money to get diapers and whatever eles they needed... i came home from the hospital and he had moved me in to his house to help me get back on my feet.... we have been together ever since.... we got married june 20th of this year and the best thing is our 1st son together is going to be born on the day we meet..... ( via s-cection )  ... that is how we met and i would not chage. it for the world... his is my life and my best friend..... every thing i do is roted around him .....

I had recently gotten divorced ( or filed at least ) from my 1st husband.  I moved into this great beach apartment with a friend of mine and met this guy named Kevin.  Well Kevin was ok for the first guy I had dated in 9 years...
One night I went to Kevin's apartment and Robert ( my husband ) answered the door.  He was Kevin's roomate.  Well Robert and I ended up talking all night and he left the next day for Chile for work.   I came home and told my friend that I wanted "the roomate"  I didn't even remember his name - I was like a little school girl with a crush!
Well, Kevin was really starting to get annoying so I had cooled it with him but we still talked, and about a month later I ran into Robert at a bar near my house ( which was odd because it was in a different beach town than his ) and we flirted and talked all night there again.  Kevin ended up showing up at the same bar and Robert and I figured out a way to get out there without Kevin knowing we were leaving together.
Well - as I said I wanted the roomate, and I got him.  I didn't even care if I had him for just that night ( he was YUMMY! )
Kevin ended up being being pretty pissed off - Robert moved his stuff in my apartment about a month later ( he travelled for like 6 weeks at a time ) to get away from Kevin and we'll be together 9 years in December....

I met him in my middle school... I was 11 he was 13... We were friends...and even kissed once when I was 12... when he walked me home..from a friends house... and finally when I was 16 we met back up and instantly hit it off...We had a great conversation and it's like we've been together ever since.... We finally married on August 9, 2008.... 2 weeks ago!!!! and have a beautiful dd and onw on the way!!! Life couldn't be better right now! Here's some pics from my wedding!!! I need to go get the professional ones back!

i met my love at a nightclub when i had went out to celebrate my divorce being finalized from my first marriage. It was love at first sight and we have never been apart for 14 years...
