Will be having circumsicion surgery on September 21.

Will be circumcized at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando

How many surgeries to date? Any coming up? Only 1, at 4 mos. None pending, although he will eventually need his pulmonary valve repaired (leaky).

A little bit about your kid(s): Hunter is great! Full of energy and life - a very funny, loving 2nd grader!
A little bit about you (yes, YOU!): Me, huh? LOL!! Too much to tell! I'll start with the 'name' - I have 3 boys: 20, 11, & 7 - the 'heathens'! The older 2 have ADHD, the middle also dx'd with Aspergers Syndrome, OCD, ODD and misc. learning disabilities; Hunter has (well-controlled) asthma and takes meds for allergies. I work full-time outside the home, am married to the rock of the family and the most wonderful man in my world! I am also a volunteer for the school district to advocate and advise on behalf of children and families who deal with disabilites.
I truly wish you all the very best - if you could all have the same experience we did, I would be so happy! We really did have a 'good' surgery, great after-care, and to look at the boy, you'd never know he had surgery! He does get cyanotic every now and then, just because of the leak, but - you'd never know it!

Kids: I have one son his name is TJ and he is also a survior of TOF
How many surgeries to date: TJ has had 2 surgeries on on august 26 2002 they but in an BT shunt. and in april of 2003 he had the full repair done. So far no more surgeries. until later in life. I had my first surgerie at the age of 3 that was in the spring of 81. Ill know on friday if i need to have my scond one.
Hospital: we have a great hospital hear in Albany ny. wich is Albany medcial center.
Tj is full of live and all BOY!!! he loves to read play and run!! nothing slows him down. He out beats mommy though out the day LOL!!!
I have been with my hubby since I was 18 years old got married in 2001 and had TJ in 2002. I am now 30 years old and loving life. I am a proud PAGAN!!

How many surgeries to date? Any coming up? 3 closed heart (Coarc Repair, PDA ligation, PA Banding, Window, Loosen PA Banding); 2 open heart (Atrial Septectomy, Damus-Kaye-Stansel with modified Hemi-Fontan); 2 heart transplants. None coming up.
Hospital where your heart baby had/will have surgery: All surgeries prior to the heart transplants were done at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG). The 2 heart transplants were done at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta
A little bit about your kid(s): Michelle graduated college in May with a degree in theater. She moved to Houston, TX in July where she is pursuing her dreams. Clayton graduated from high school in May and is working as in intern in an automotive repair shop. Charlie is a junior in high school and is planning a career in aerospace engineering. Lessi just started 4 yr old pre-school. I am actually her aunt but have custody of her. I've had her 3 years and she calls me mom and I consider her my daughter .
A little bit about you (yes, YOU!): I was a working mom until I was blessed with the birth of Clayton. So, for 18 years I've been a SAHM. I like to reach out to other moms who are starting on a journey similar to the one i've been on for many years. I've been married for 24 years, am a Christian, am passionate where my family is concerned, love cats, have a newfound love for Siberian huskies, and collect frogs. I love reading and working in my yard. Nothing quite like cutting grass or working the soil for flowers and being able to let your mind wander and commune with God. Your child's CHD: Jordin was born with Transposition of the great vessels with a VSD .
How many surgeries to date? Any coming up?He has 1 open heart and 6 heart caths with one stent . He has a heart cath the 26th of this month
Hospital where your heart baby had/will have surgery:He had his surgery in Spokane Washington @ Sacred Heart Hospital . And thats where we go for his heart caths , Its about 3 hours from home.
A little bit about your kid(s):Hes potty training !! wooohooo i havent changed a diaper for 8 days i love it . Jordin also loves nemo and monster trucks .,.. i swear i know all the words to nemo its crazy .
A little bit about you (yes, YOU!): I am 26 and have been with Jordins dad Jeremy for 8 years ... I am a diabetic and will only have 1 child cause i was horrible sick when i was prego with Jordin .

How many surgeries to date? Any coming up? 14 total, (yes, 14) 2 heart, (BT Shunt at 4 weeks, patch at 6 months) we will have another heart next summer.

Kids names and ages: Jon (25 yrs.), William (21 yrs.), Cassie (18 yrs.), Elizabeth (16 yrs.), & Davy (5 yrs.)
Child's CHD: Davy has Bicuspid Aorta w/ moderate Stenosis
How many surgeries to date? Any coming up? No surgeries to this date, but will need one by 10th birthday and second one in his adulthood to make final repair.
Hospital where your baby had/will have surgery: Children's Hospital at Scott & White in Temple, Texas
A little bit about your kid(s): Even though Davy has a heart condition he is as active as any normal kid. He loves running and jumping in the great outdoors! He wants to be a Volcanologist when he grows up. He loves to learn all there is about volcanoes. His brain is like a sponge, he absorbs so much info. He started kindergarten this year.
His favorite subject is science. He and his dad are always outside making volcanoes erupt, he has several kits!
When he isn't in his room building volcanoes (out of clay), he likes playing games on the computer or surfing the web for info on volcanoes and the planets. His favorite game to play with the family is Wii bowling. He is great at it!! He has so good that we can't even beat him at it. He's already at the pro level!
He likes to read. He's been reading since he was 3 years old. His reading level is at about 2nd grade level. Even though he doesn't read much to us any more, I still catch him reading to himself!
Right now he weighs around 40 lbs., he'll always be small (thin). He makes up for his condition in other ways. He's a super kid!
A little bit about you: I'm 46 years old . I'm a stay at home mom, but I do work at my church for 6-7 hours a week. I'm the Nursery Coordinator.
Earlier this year I started caring for my dad. He's 81 years old and has trouble getting around. That is tiring work when I also have my own family to look after. (I'm not complaining). I was hoping to go back to work full time once Davy started school, but I don't see how I can leave my dad alone for such a long period of time. I haven't worked since I became pregnant with Davy. It's been too long.
Sometimes I wish I had a job I could run from my own home.
Changing the subject. I like to collect lighthouses, snowmen, santa clauses and cow parade cows.
My favorite season is Autumn (it's finally here!!). My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I have a great husband! He likes alot of the same things I do, so we've kind of passed them on to our kids!!
