My husband is currently in Haiti. He went down there on January 6th on a mission trip to an orphanage in Grand Goave, Haiti to help make running bathrooms for the boys there. Since the earthquake that occured in Port Au Prince, I have been unable to make contact with him, outside of an email from the team leader to our pastor at my church. I have not heard Joe's voice since this last Sunday and I do not know when or how he will get home, I only know that he is safe for now. He was supposed to get home this Saturday, leaving Haiti by Friday morning. All incoming and outgoing commercial flights to the Port Au Prince airport have been canceled. My prayer request is that somehow my husband and the group of people he is with are able to get on a US military cargo plane or find some other mode of transportation to get back to the US. I'm scared for him, though I know he is safe, but I'm having a hard time as well being home alone without him. I know God has him down there for a reason, and I know that he's ministering to many people and just being down there able to help in this disaster is an awesome opportunity that God has given him. Thanks!
Thank God he's safe & he'll be home soon! Just relax now, for the sake of your baby if nothing else, & lean on God until hubby gets home :o) I'll be praying for you & him.
