Being a young Christian, its been hard for me to keep my faith. I've stopped going to church because the people there gossip and im afraid of the things i will say when i'm confronted by this gossip. So i just steer clear which has ( i feel ) has put a strain on my relationship with God. My parents go faithfully and my husband is a christian but i cant get him to go with me either. I want to bring my baby up in church like my mother did me and my sister but im afraid that i'd be a hypocrite. Please pray for my in this situation and pray that my baby will be happy and healthy and will come to know and love God like i do.

Can you go with your parents? Maybe their support would help curb the gossip? I attend a very small church and have been so lucky that the church family is so welcoming. There is a family who judges, but they are always civil in church. I don't feel they judge me on my faith in God but more that fact that I am a young mom with 3 kids with a husband who rarely comes to church. Petty stuff like how much you make seems to play a factor with that family.
